Marie Antoinette Orsini

( AKA NANETTE )

Nanette is a process consultant and a trainer. She is specialized in assisting managers and executives to “create the culture” they wish to see alive in their organization. She guides strategic planning sessions for leadership teams of multinationals, banks, research institutions and small businesses. She delivers courses on leadership and management skills, problem solving and managing in a cross cultural setting at all levels across the hierarchy and works in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America as well as Africa.

In addition to the private sector, she presently works with CERN, World Economic Forum, World Trade Organization and World Intellectual Property Organization. In the past 10 years she has collaborated with the World trade Organization/ITC,  training consultants from developing countries to develop their ability to advice local clients in strengthening their capability to export. In Bolivia, Turkey, Jordan, Tanzania, Kenya she has trained consultants to perform strategy and financial audits of SME, apply process consulting approach, practice advisory tools and design strategy and action plans.

Nanette was introduced to training working at Pecos River Learning Centers (PRLC) located in Santa Fe New Mexico. She adjusted PRLC curriculum to international audiences and delivered in French for Dupont de Nemours, General Motors. She opened PRLC office in Belgium in 1991.

From 1985 to 1989 she was managing Director at the Center for Applied Studies in International Negotiations, Geneva, Switzerland, heading a Center of Research on Non-Governmental Organizations. She was teaching negotiation in a multilateral setting and Mediated dialogues between private companies, international organizations and pressure groups on Public Affairs issues, biotechnology, combination drugs, pesticides, environment, consumer affairs.

Nanette attended a PHD program at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, her research was on “Non Governmental Organizations in the international system”.  She received her Master in Political sciences at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grenoble, complemented by a year’s exchange program with the University of Kent at Canterbury, England.

She published a  Training and Consulting skills – A generic manual for the International Trade Center. United Nations. ITC 2010 as well as research papers on pressure group and the World Health Organization.
